โ โ โ โ โ Dad's Pies? Amazing! There are too many pies on the market that are tasteless and have questionable fillings of unknown origin (and what's that wierd jelly stuff in there?) these pies hit the bin after one regretted bite. But I've NEVER had a bad pie from Dad's Pies. This is the only choice when a pie or sausage roll is needed! Peppered steak is the best. So good!

โ โ โ โ โ Ah, what a great pie! Sensibly priced, not greasy, all the usual recipes, nice and hot, service with a smile. Worth going out of your way for one of these, just go in the cafe and not their offices next door. Nice to have a touch of spice in the Thai chicken but not enough to give an awkward runny nose...Thanks guys...see you soon!

โ โ โ โ โ Everything i was hoping my steak and cheese pie would be! Tasty, meat to gravy ratio perfect. The pastry held together and didnt flake all over the place. Plenty of cheese. Proper gravy, not jelly.. thanks Dads Pies :)

โ โ โ โ โ I have been a gigantic fan of the Dads Pies for a very long time. Unfortunately, after today I've concluded that I will not be backing and supporting it anymore. Im very disappointed that my favourite pie, "Pepper and Steak" is no longer unique and impressive. The Dads Pies, used to be the best brand in the whole of New Zealand.
Sadly, the filling and gravy tasted of fat, with hardly any meat. The meat were pieces of chewy strings. It tasted disgusting. The quality of the pies has pivoted into a typical commercial quality, a.k.a plastic quality. They have lost their special and passionate touch with their recipes and the uniqueness of their products. Good luck Dads pies. It takes years to lure, attract and entice customers/supporters, but it takes only a second for them to flee from your business.
The customers are the butter and bread of any business. It's this simple, no customers, no income, resulting in the business shut down. Businesses have to be very careful with their game and performance because nowadays we have millions of competitions and contenders. I've already committed to another pie shop. They make fantastic and delicious pies. They value their customers and show passion and affection for their recipes and services.
