β β β β β Had an amazing meal here over the weekend. The food is great, and the service impeccable! Attentive staff were quick to pour wine, answer questions and provide advice. We went for the Restaurant Month set menu which had a range of dishes - beautifully served and delicious. Will definitely be returning!!

β β β β β This was my first experience at a Greek restaurant. The food was beautiful. Definitely go back for the calamari and lamb. Atmosphere was lovely. Sam, our waiter was just delightful - a perfect mixture of friendly and attentive, knowing the food and seeking to understand the needs of the customers. Five stars, Sam. Only comment would be that we went to have a catch up with friends but the music was so loud, we just couldn't hear each other at our table and none of us are deaf. My friend had to ask for the music to be turned down but it was barely turned down. If the volume could be fine-tuned 'scuse the pun, I would give this five stars. Again, the food was delicious. Thank you.

β β β β β Beautiful delicious modern greek food. The octopus is divine. Also the piper with calamari stood out for me. Setting is open and modern which I really liked, it made the place feel comfy and relaxed. Definitely going back to try more of the yummy menu items we just couldn't fit into our full tummy's this time around.

β β β β β Update:
The lamb was aamaaaazzzing. Went for a lunch and that lamb rump pushed it to 5/5 from a previous 4/5.

Went with a friend of mine who I happened to spend some time with in Athens a couple of years back. When in Athens she destroyed the honey and cheese whereas I didnβt really take to it.. however, Daphnes take on this dish was delicious! The pita bread was warm and fresh which was a great accompaniment.
Overall I found the menu to be good, not ground breaking but nothing was bad. We asked the waitress to bring us a selection because we couldnβt decide and I think she did a good job. Excellent service.
The custard crumble for dessert was a bit average, though.

β β β β β Great atmosphere, great service, great food. However, garlic, a staple in the Mediterranean diet and especially in Greece, seems to be missing in some dishes of this taverna.

β β β β β Nice decoration with exposed walls. (Although softer surfaces would break down the noise.) Amazing lakerda (the fish was snapper). I got calamari that came on a bed of squid ink. (Squid ink gets on your lips, so not for a lipstick day.) All in all I think this is a gorgeous brunch restaurant.

β β β β β One of the best meals I've had while in New Zealand in April. So happy I insisted in visiting. We ordered the hummus, fish lakerda, spanakopita and the octopus. Everything was spot on just the lakerda I thought was missing a bit of acid to brighten up the dish. Ambiance is great and if you are going for a quick lunch this is a great spot as the food is served pretty quickly.

β β β β β Itβs a beautiful building with some tasty food and some great drinks. You canβt go wrong. I love some Greek flavours, but itβs more of a modern vibe. I would like more feta on my classic Greek salad TBH but ya know, letβs not nitpick this amazing restaurant.
