★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engaging tastings, thoughtful, broad selection, and a matching depth of knowledge; Dave, and Decant, is an important part of not just the landscape of wine in Christchurch, but forms a pinnacle of the South Island, and indeed, this store is leading the wine drinkers of NZ as a whole onward, unto the best of the Old World, as well as the new.
Not to forget that Decant isn't merely a wine store, but an excellent cafe providing cabinet food with substance, and top coffee.... if that's your thing, or a glass of riesling if otherwise.

Their selection covers the full gamut of elegant and exceptional European wines, with many other options also available too.
