★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've used a lot of Dell products in my working career and they've been great. However, it seems that when you shop as an individual, they don't give you same level of attention or service. Placed an order with them a month ago, estimate delivery was 2-3 days. I have since had my order delayed 3 times with no explanation. I called customer service, spoke to someone who couldn't tell me if they had stock, they transferred me to their sales team, an automated service took my contact details and said someone will call me back. 5 days later, still no call, order still hasn't shipped. Estimated delivery date is now 3 weeks later than the original.
Eventually my order arrived. There was part of the order missing and while again it took a long time to rectify, the Customer Support team more than adequately reimbursed me for the issue.
I stand by my comment that they make great products, but be prepared to wait longer than expected for your order and their customer service team doesn't always get things right at first, but with enough perseverance, you can get there.
