That's our mission. That & to serve up the best burgers with sides in an upbeat environment that boasts New York 'old-school' hip hop vibe.
The name Dirty Burger forms from the definition of dirty food which is traditionally regarded as junk food or fast food, but is made with high quality ingredients & added elements such as exotic sauces. Dirty food is what the young & gorgeous eat when 'painting the town'.
All the love has inspired us to expand nationally so wherever Dirty Burger heads next, we'll keep bringing it. Our knack for great food, our sense of spontaneity & our downtown NYC street appeal.

She was very welcoming and made our experience a one to remember! Give this girl a raise!

β β β β β Easily the best burger joint in Upper Hutt. The David Chang (when actually cooked properly) is probably the best burger I've ever had anywhere. Just make sure you ask for well done! I like my steaks a bit pink but their "medium" burgers are often cold and raw in the middle which is unpleasant and off-putting. The rap/hip hop music is a bit annoying but I get it, its the theme. 3/5 starts Could be an easy 5/5 if they cooked their meat properly.

β β β β β A new hamburger experience for Upper Hutt of burgers with real meat patties and simple contents done very well. I can also recommend the chips with cheese and gravy it was good value for money. I had heard previously Dirty Burgers were slow to assemble the burgers so recommend ordering online unless you have 25 minutes to spare! Let's hope these guys get some speed lessons on cooking multiple items at once. Time is of the essence for most modern Takeaways....

β β β β β forgot to photograph the food I was too keen to dig in! Had a buttermilk chicken burger. Yummy as. Chips were a large serving. Got cheesy chilli fries. Need a drink with those! Love the great wall art. Would go again. Little pricy.

β β β β β Clean venue. A decent selection of burgers with sides and drinks. Staff aren't very chatty. Order took 20 minutes to come out despite it being quiet in shop. I had the peanut utter bacon which was good but expensive at $17.90. Wife had the COQ Fighter which was better. Good but nothing special.
Edit: Recent had the David Chang and this was pretty good.. after comparing prices with other places and considering the quality, its actually pretty reasonable. Great if you like a tasty, fat dripping burger ?

β β β β β It's a shame I'm having to write this review in such a poor light, because a couple of the burgers weren't too bad. However, the kids cheese burgers were dangerously undercooked, and it was pink inside throughout. To add to the misery, a piece of a latex glove was found in the chips and gravy. What kind of preparation standards are happening over there if you don't notice that a piece of your glove has come off, or for how long to cook a burger for? None of the kitchen staff had masks on either.
