β β β β β What appealed to me about Matewais style as a reader is that she calls on her ancestors and indigenous roots which is te ao Maori. The reading style is relaxed and friendly. Pays to write as she talks because the Aki Aki te ti can come later.

β β β β β I finally listened to my recording from 2020 and the feeling I had straight afterward and for weeks after was confirmed. The feeling was that I didn't get much out of it, and it felt a bit phony while the session was three hours. The first two hours was spent being told how much I had 'the gift' and teaching me how I could be in tune with this gift. It was super repetitive and a lot of what was said was just repeated and reworded details from me. In the recording I could feel my frustration and impatience and I was actually asking multiple times if we were going to talk about any messages coming through for me. This was answered with "not yet, we need to talk about your gift" which really wasn't why I wanted to connect with Matewai and paid the money. My friend actually had a similar experience with her a few months later and stopped it halfway and told her to leave. I know my experience may not be the same as others but I do think it's important to share experiences like these.
