I got braces as an adult. I found Donna after having been somewhere else where the service had been substandard and not actually doing the job.
I went to Donna and also had oral surgery to enable some teeth to come down. My process of braces took 7 years. During that time I endured excessive gum problems, wire breakages, wire being placed too high and irritating my gums and of course gaps in between my teeth that weren't there before.
Last year I had enough of the wire breakages so I had the top wire removed. My top gums were always smelly no matter how much I cleaned and now they have permanent irritation. So fast forward to now, I have the biggest gap between my two front teeth that you could drive a truck through and after spending $6k I expected to at least have my 2 front teeth in the same place they were before the braces were on!!! I'm so disappointed and if she expected this to be the outcome I wouldn't have wasted my money! I'm in discomfort all the time and feel that I have swapped one issue for another. Think twice before adult braces and gets lots of information first
Definitely didn't get what I paid for.

Donna removed some glue from my teeth and left scratches across my front tooth. When asked about this she used the convenient excuse ‘that wasn’t me, that was your Orthadontist in the UK I didn’t remove any glue from that tooth’. I was being fully truthful and just wanted her to buff the scratches out to rectify what she had caused.
She accused me of lying, said she had made thorough medical notes, but in fact they are incorrect and unfortunately there must have been a mistake by whomever has written them.
She was very reluctant to help and when asked she took zero accountability when it would have been easy to have me in to discuss/ fix.
In addition I asked her to remove the glue, and when I got home several teeth had been missed so I had to go back that same day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place causes me so much suffering still to this day.. I had braces for two years, and I feel Donna deliberately left out important information; such as I now have a PERMANENT wire across my bottom teeth that gives me ulcers on tongue constantly, and prevents me from eating such foods as an apple or corn on the cob.
Secondly, they claimed I had an overbite which they “corrected”, and now my jaw clicks in and out every time I open my mouth - which is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE.
Third; I paid extra for white braces along my front teeth, which took about a month to change to brown, despite my best efforts to clean them.. this had a big effect on my mental health during these two years, as I would try not to smile to conceal my brown teeth. I thought I would be free from the braces after two years, but no, the first two problems I mentioned assure me that I’m reminded of this MISTAKE every day.
So I highly recommend you DO NOT come here !!!!

Always helpful and thoughtful.
My dentist recommended the team as the best in town and I agree. Have recommended to many others.
