★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Dr Roberta at Dr Vitalis Acupuncture was absolutely wonderful. She listened and tailored treatment especially for me and the stage of pregnancy I was at. I felt a lot of relief following treatment and knew that if I didn't, Roberta would be able to help me at my next appointment. The Acupuncture itself was relaxing and calming. An all round A+ experience and I can't wait to go back post-lockdown!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had been trying for a baby for just over 3 years and feeling pretty defeated after 2 failed rounds of IVF. After a little research I came across Vitalis acupuncture, I was apprehensive at first but what’s the worst that could happen. From my first visit I sat down with Vitalis and explained my situation and I asked all the questions I needed too. It was very clear from the start that Vitalis and Roberta were very passionate about what they do and very knowledgeable. They were able to answer any questions or I had, all the way through my treatment.
Throughout my treatment, Roberta has been amazing, so kind through some hard days and very understanding. She takes the time to ask how I am and help me along with any additional problems I may be facing. I found the treatment really relaxing and I often spend the hour asleep or feeling very relaxed.
I am please to say I am now 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby and have decided to continue my treatment until the end.
I decided to write this review as I was a little sceptical at first. I did some research, read some reviews and made the decision to go ahead. It’s the best thing I did and if you are wondering the same.... I highly reccomend this acupuncture clinic, not only for acupuncture but for the highly skilled people working there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to be induced at 38 weeks for my second pregnancy (2020). This was a bit of a worry for me as my first one came so naturally and in her own time. I decided to look up what could help me prepare and found Dr Vitalis Acupuncture. (I had no previous acupuncture experience) At the time, I also had trouble sleeping or having a good sleep, and painful hips when sleeping and changing position. I had Roberta treat me for 3 weeks (2x on my 36&37 weeks and 4x on the 38th/final week with the last appointment on the day before the actual day of being induced). I ALWAYS have a great nap during the treatment and it helped with a lot of my pregnancy symptoms. My main aim was that the acupuncture would help me naturally break my waters.
On the day of being induced. I went to the hospital, a bit sad that I had to go through this process still. The hospital midwife checked my cervix and felt that its so 'ripe' -meaning 'favourable and stretchy' according to her. So she was able to just break my waters and no need for gels/ hormones and all the waiting for my body to react to that. Two hours later, my babyboy was out. I fully believe that its the acupuncture that helped my cervix to be ready.
First thing that came to mind after the birth was that acupuncture sessions with Roberta was soo worth it. My midwife agrees that the acupuncture helped big time! Pricey for my husband lol but will definitely go for it again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard great things about fertility acupuncture and decided to look into it. I was in my mid 30s and my journey had been 3 and a half years with no results, I was becoming disheartened and fertility specialists or my GP did not fill me with hope.
Then I met Roberta and she changed my perspective and filled me with hope that we could do this! Sessions with her, if nothing else, were like a counselling session. I always felt so relaxed and looked forward to seeing her each week.
We discussed my plan, I changed my GP and my fertility specialist and began to take control of my own pathway. We discussed diet and lifestyle, and I learnt so much about my cycle. Acupuncture did help my cycles and with a little help from some ovulation induction drugs we were eventually successful. After nearly 5 years of trying to conceive, we were Pregnant!. Not only that, we were having TWINS!!!
Roberta was a god send during our fertility journey! I don't think we would have persevered without her!! I fully believe that Acupuncture helped me conceive and I highly recommend seeing the team at Vitalis Acupuncture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We suffered from recurrent miscarriages after our first child and turned to IVF to complete our family. I booked to see Roberta for support at this time and got waaaay more than I bargained for. Roberta was absolutely amazing. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable in all things fertility and pregnancy, but is such a kind and wonderful person as well. So many laughs as well! The acupuncture was so helpful for stress, sleep (and the best naps ever), and boosted my egg production by a ridiculous amount in our second cycle. Alas, IVF didn’t work out for us… until we got pregnant naturally soon after our “last” cycle, and carried to term, supported by Roberta along the way. We have completed our family finally!

They make you feel comfortable and they are very professional. I had never had acupuncture before seeing them and my husband and I had been struggling to conceive. Not long after starting fertility acupuncture our dreams came true and we will be forever grateful!!
