★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cafe with loads of choices and GF and V options. Was busy but the staff looked relaxed and under control. Very friendly staff and customers. Recommended stop when driving through town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cafe in Wairoa. Possibly the best one. Very busy. We ordered cappuccino and flat white plus a chocolate raspberry brownie. It was really good. Standard price. The lady at the counter could be a bit more friendly but I understand everyone was quite busy and she's trying to get the order quickly. Beautiful spot by the river. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked the length of the main street and found that Wairoa has left the best till last!
From the quirky cutlery pressed into the floor at the entrance, to the delicious looking food in the cabinet, and the friendly smiles from the staff serving, we were made to feel very welcome here.
We were lucky that on such a warm day for winter we were able to get one of the outside tables and enjoyed two great flat whites, a slice and a melt. All were excellent, and were served with minimal delay.
Excellent toilets at the back if, like me, you need to make room for that coffee!
