β β β β β Had some recent power cuts but I had forgotten that this can even happen as their network is largely flawless to the most congested areas. Pricing is apparently reasonable, and they appear to be investing into our region and the future.

β β β β β Very poor customer service. No customer service at all in fact. I was referred to eastland network by Meridian energy who are very helpful and friendly, but eastland network is the complete opposite. No passion and care in what they do. Will be going with a solar energy company if it means avoiding eastland network.

β β β β β Tagging on Switch boxes and transformers sited in residential streets is low priority. Eastland Network are out of touch with the causes and deterrents of tagging and quite happily allow neighbourhoods to be blighted by their tagged hardware for years rather than cover it smartly i.e. within 24 hrs of the tagging appearing, or using artwork to deter the tagging. Residents pay a network charge for you to maintain the network, and that includes keeping your switchboxes and transformers free of tagging. Join the real world Eastland Network and make Gisborne a better looking place to live.
