★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, just wanted to elaborate on my experience at this location. first, I arrived with my buddies who were quick to establish that this was a subpar cricket wicket. to challenge this belief, I contacted the groundsmen at this location. Alas, I received no response, thus leaving me to believe this is, in fact, a middling cricket wicket that cannot compete with the rapidly improving nature of cricket wickets across Auckland. I bowl left arm orthodox and this is the only wicket where I have taken a wicket. Read into that as you will.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little cricket ground for spending a few hours in the sun on a summer's day. Enjoy a beer and kick back on the grass banks with a superb view of the first class cricket. Puts the stadium to shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best domestic cricket ground in New Zealand! The outfields here are amazing. Lightning fast with great quality grass. All the domestic level matches take place here and I've been fortunate enough to watch some of these matches. Sitting on the grass right outside the boundary is amazing. You are right next to the action and there is a strong possibility you will get your hands on the match ball and have to chance to throw it back to some of the best cricketers in New Zealand. It is amazing that Premier Men Finals are played here. This will allow the best club cricketers to get a chance to play in a stadium and enjoy the fast outfields. You can also get a close up view of the cricket nets. Where you can see how the best bat and bowl. Great facilities here, clean, friendly staff and always well maintained.
