★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to walk, run, cycle, and take your dog for an on lead walk. Often see kereru, and other native birds. Pretty views between the native bush. Unsealed but doesn't get muddy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pipeline track is a pleasant enough walk, the terrain is easy going and there are some great views across Woodlands Park to the harbour. A real shame that at several places along the track irresponsible dog owners have decided to make the effort to bag their dogs mess only to then tie it to a post/tree/fence. While the majority of tracks are closed in the Waitakere Park now this is one of the few tracks open, though it's far from being the native bush tracks that we hope will open again one day.
