★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter started coming to EMT in year four and is still going (year 10 now) she has enjoyed coming to EMT while also improving in maths and learning new math skills.
Since she started EMT, she has constantly been getting good results. In her most recent maths test at school she got an excellence. I believe EMT provided good quality learning. We found a better pathway for my girl to improve her maths. We will Strongly recommend all newcomers to join EMT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I started at EMT in year 10 I hated maths, I was very behind in my class and had no hope for passing NCEA. I had a shaky foundation in basic numeracy skills and thought maths is not for me. At EMT my tutor immediately identified and started filling in my gaps in understanding. Her explanations were so clear and patient, and for the first time I began to feel some confidence in something I thought I just couldn't do. They have the perfect resources, technique and expertise to just make it click for me. Over 2 years I went from hopeless and totally disengaged in maths, to passing my NCEA numeracy credits and gaining UE. I no longer felt inadequate at being behind in class, and my attitude totally changed.
Now, I am in university studying intermediate economics, and have once again come back to EMT to revise my maths skills for upcoming exams. I am always refreshed and relieved at how clear my understanding becomes with the patient EMT tutors. EMT saved my schooling and set me on the path to my current career. Thank you.

Thanks to EMT. son prefers face to face sessions but unfortunately the Sandringham office is closed now. So now need to do it over zoom as Blockhouse bay is too far for him to travel to.

Sonia, his teacher is absolutely amazing and she has encouraged him to reach his potential. My son when he joined EMT was on level 2P with his Maths at school and now he is on track for level 5B which is an extraordinary achievement. Thank you EMT.
