Not happy ,very bad customer service and ,to write a letter saying they that my x partner has refused to use fairway resolution ,so I can go to family court, taking them 3 months just to give a letter and I'm still waiting and my lawyer to waiting.so please don't use them

I went to Fairways to try to enforce payment of a lump sum. ACC claimed that I made another Claim 3 years before and was already treated, that was a lie so I was instructed to provide a list of claims I made. I won the case and ACC were instructed to make a fresh assessment. I requested a copy of the audio recording from the hearing and Fairways had edited all the stuff ACC said that would work against them. I made the complaint to fairways and they denied it so it went to the district court but they did not have jurisdiction over Fairways. If you complain against them, they will decide themselves that you are wrong and will close the case. In summary, avoid fairways, they are corrupt and on ACCs side. I have heard of more cases of this so beware

The mediators have questionable ethics and I do not believe that you will receive a fair treatment. One mediator received preferential medical treatment for a family member in return for a decision. Another mediator did not report that evidence to the Law Society in contravention to their code of ethics. Citizens arriving here generally have limited funds and have been genuinely shafted by various medical professionals. ACC medical staff are no better and presented false and misleading evidence. The long process filing a complaint with Nursing Council means that there is no immediate satisfaction for a mistreated patient in the legislation timelines. The only way to fix Fairway's attitude is to make the Ministers of Parliament do something (good luck with that as it is unlikely that a sick person will feature high on their priority list unless elections are close).

I think it probably only fair to update my review since my last experience with Fairway. This time was much more reasonable and a complete contrast to the previous experience. Thankfully the previous Fairway mediator has since left and my case was heard much more professionally this time around....and the result was in my favour. Previous post: My experience of Fairway is that they are corrupt. My case was so heavily in my favour that the ACC representative had nothing to say and kept hanging up the phone. I was still ruled against though by the Fairway mediator. However with help from Southern Cross paying for Schmidt and Peart Law to take my case, I won against ACC and now have compensation for my treatment injury. Many, many others it would appear are not so fortunate to have support from their health insurance.

Do not even qualify for one star rating. Their worked as moderators for an ACC dispute and Erica from this company was allocated my case. She looked like she made her mind up even before the appeal was heard and even though we agreed along with ACC that I was supposed to get the cost to cover my time for the meeting, she forgot about the discussion and failed to add it into the final review outcome. When I reached out after the decision was made, there was no response from the company for the first few weeks and they finally responded after the appeals window was over saying that the case is no longer in their jurisdiction! Pathetic overall experience and the reviewer lacked basic decision making acumen and had a biased view - I was totally prepared for both the outcomes, but, I was appalled at the way Erics conducted herself through the process and felt like she was just trying to wash her hands off as soon as possible.

Had an ACC claim dispute for my mother that was referred to Fairway. The assessor, Paul, refused to allow some crucial evidence from the surgeon involved, as he determined that it was 'late', despite an email requesting an extension, which said that the new evidence was imminent. There was no valid reason given for not accepting the extension, and the letter was received two days later, submitted, but then refused to be entered as evidence. He then decided it was a 50-50 case and sided with ACC. The evidence, and truth, would have swung the case in our favour. So it was subjective decision made by the adjudicator, which allowed him to side with ACC. It seems like they were more interested in closing the case rather trying to uncover the truth. Avoid if possible.

Family mediators, especially Karen Allshop don't understand, that they playing with human life. Please consider few times before you want to use their company for resolving family issues, as there is a guarantee - your issues would be much bigger as before.
