★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From day one the team here were welcoming. I came with huge trust issues and found this environment to be a safe space. What I learnt was the most empowering information that I never new would change my life and my perspectives on life and people. It gave me permission to reclaim what was taken and its OK to not settle for less. I deserve better and I deserve respect. I learnt to trust myself again, its been a grueling crawl at times but resilient I manage with other skills and tools I learnt from here to get back up and try again.
There were lots of laughs, puzzles, games share time, support.
With all the barriers up against me with admin etc the process and procedure to be supported the transition was unhealthy but these wahine still supported me regardless the best they could & as much as I allowed them too. Trauma has prevented me from allowing people right in. When I do, they don't stay long. I know if I'm ever back in Rotorua & triggers resurface, I'm welcome here.
