★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious coffee. A real hidden gem and lovely coffee. Good collection of cakes and sweets and a really interesting shop selling some unique cookbooks and coffee gadgets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spicy chai, though did have to ask for them to heat it up from luke warm. As for the the half sandwich ie 1 piece of supermarket bread with 2 small pieces of lettuce and granted tasty green dressing for $6.00 - I was left very hungry. Big disappointment.

That being said, driving from far north to Gisborne I stopped once for coffee where I know is top class. Now I'm not saying this lightly but far East Coffee has now joined my list of 4 top coffee places in nz

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee! Hard to find down the back of what looks like an earth moving equipment yard.
We asked why no signs? They like to be low key, using word of mouth marketing. Anyway - hunt it down, it's worth finding!! Best of all it was $4.50 for a large takeaway flat white.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hidden little gem, super delicious coffee, but not easy to find, cos there’re no signs out.
Just the next entrance to the Gull Fuel station, enter to the right fence and drive the whole way through till the end and then right and here you’re. I put some pictures with marks online.
Staff is very friendly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit challenging to locate down a long driveway. BUT awesome coffee and great staff. Particularly in love with the raspberry croissants and the willingness to be extra friendly to visitors. We'll worth the effort to locate and enjoy.
