★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review is based on a comparison with at least 5 other souvlaki takeaways in Christchurch. Unfortunately this was by far the least favorable experience. We ordered by phone, waited an extra 20mins. This does not normally phase me too much if the rest of the experience is good, but sadly the meat was dry and lacking any discernable flavor. The sauce was bland shop bought and the bread (double in this case) smaller than other outlets. I gave two stars as I have come to expect this level of quality from the average takeaway in this area, but when compared with other outlets it would be a 1. Wont be heading back, rather drive the extra 10mins for superior quality and service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phone order, had to repeat over and over. Said will be 15 minutes. Arrived and waited another 20 for 4 small souvlakis. When we got home they were tiny. He had put chilli in all and we only asked for 2, the lamb smelt like fish. We asked for tabouli and not one had this, only sloppy lettuce. Tasteless and terrible service. We ended up throwing them out, worse $42 dollars ever spent. Do not recommend. Go next door to Bower fish and chips much better.

The lamb is back steak and yummie compare to some others we had in the past. I do recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Falafel Souvlaki ever . So fresh. Very tasty . Great choice of meals. Great for diabetics too! Would have it every night it's so yum! Owner very friendly! Excellent! Close to SH 74.

This wee takeaway is a wonderful gem of a place to get your sauvlaki, freshest I've ever had and everything is made from love, including the bread which he makes himself! The meat is seasoned by the owner and is unique and delicious! The owner is so friendly and is a real pleasure to chat with! Ignore any bad reviews, it's worth coming here to see for yourself!
