Featherston Community Centre - Featherston Community Centre 14 Wakefield Street
About Featherston Community Centre
The Centre is funded through grants from organisations and from income made through renting our rooms and offices to local businesses, community groups and for private functions. We’ve also received many generous donations from the public over the years – everything from people’s free time and hard work through to donations of firewood to keep the Centre cosy during the chilly South Wairarapa winter.
Special thanks to the Nikau Foundation and COGS for operational support. This has proved crucial in allowing the Centre to be managed as efficiently and effectively as it is.
Our other major supporters and displayed below.
As well as our major supporters, we would like to thank these groups, individuals and businesses for their generous in kind assistance:
Alan Brook Lawnmowing, Pat Hamilton & Featherston Owls - community fundraising initiative, Fab Feathy, Supervalue Featherston, Featherston Sports Hub, Lamb-Peters Print, All Season's Tree Services, Featherston St John's Youth, The Chimney Man, Featherston Menz Shed, Featherston Booktown and Sheps Maintenance.
A special thanks as always goes out to our trusted Centre volunteers. Our Centre would not be the same without you

β β β β β Absolutely love this place. Iβm a visitor from the UK and my daughter introduced me. I loved spending my time on a Friday morning joining all the lovely ladies knitting for charity. My dream was to return as a NZ resident but thatβs been shattered. I will continue to support you from here and wish you all to be safe, healthy and happy in these troubled times. I miss you all so much. Keep up the good work. Love Carol Grimley/Wilkie
