★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mown grass path through trees. Off leash dog walking area. Good for a walk on windy days when the beach is too sandy, the estuary path too windy and Cousins Ave Reserve forest too scary (tall trees@Cousins + wind = not eveyone’s cup of tea).
Park at the other end of the track on Foxton Beach Road.
No services or directional signage in reserve but too small to get lost in for any amount of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice meandering walk through a pine forest. Lots of small loop tracks branching off the main route from one end to the other. Plenty of wild NZ spinach, furns, finches, reeds, flax, quail, fantails, sparrow, black birds, Buttercup and one random peacock. Yup a peacock.
