Field & Green is a daytime eatery creating evocative dishes inspired by European food influences - we call this european soul food.
Field & Green - Fieldandgreen.co.nz
Laura and Raechal opened Field & Green, a take on Laura’s surname Greenfield, in 2015 after relocating to New Zealand from London’s food and art scene.
Built in the early 1900's as a brass foundry, the site was to become a recording studio in the 50’s for the pioneering independent record label TANZA (To Assist New Zealand Artists). The label famously produced “Blue Smoke”, New Zealand’s first all-local hit. The premises then became a bar in various colourful guises before being converted to food service.

β β β β β Dine here twice, once for the WOAP menu and the other for the 'normal' menu. Would definitely recommend the latter.

β β β β β I went here with friends on Friday evening and I can't recommend it enough.
The food was delicious, we all loved our meals, the ambience was beautiful and the service was amazing.
What I would say is make sure you leave room for dessert as they have in-house made ice cream with a variety of not your average flavours and they are delicious!!
We will all definitely be back, thank you

β β β β β Loved this place! The customer service was top notch. All the staff were super friendly and accomodating which we really appreciated. Me and my husband both ordered the french toast with bacon, it was absolutely delicious and up there with the best french toast we've ever had! My only feedback would be that it's quite a small portion, for our standards anyway. We are quite big eaters and they just give one thick piece of toast, I think it would be amazing if the dish came with two pieces instead, even if they were to raise the price slightly to be able to do this. Thanks for a lovely brunch team!

β β β β β Delicious food, a bit pricey and the portion are not very big. If the place is busy it can be very noisy.

β β β β β Perfect for brunch - we ordered a cheese scone, kedgeree, beetroot, and chicken schnitzel. This is my favourite restaurant in Wellington. Never had a bad dish here.

β β β β β A regular dining establishment for me when in Wellington. Arguably the most consistent eatery in town.
Whether brunch, lunch or dinner there is something for everyone here.
Give it ago if you haven't you will not be dissapointed.
