Food is really good, service is good always a great variety of mains and desserts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a fantastic medium rare sirloin steak night $20 great steak perfectly cooked. See photo. Will be back for Wed burger and beer $25 and Thu two pizzas $30 and Fri fish and chips. Very lucky to have Flax on our doorstep in Prestons subdivision

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very friendly, opening times tend to be to suit, even before covid, ring for booking at 7.30 when site says closing at 9pm , (supposedly updated regularly) and told last orders at 6.30 closing at 7.30.... really.... On a Saturday night. 5 year olds are up later... Thank goodness there are so many other choices in the area with more to come ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting Flax and we loved it. They were quite busy, and due to COVID social distancing had to turn a couple tables away while we were there, but i thought the front of house staff delivered the message well. Service was great, friendly and nothing was a problem. The food was good too, decent sized portions and bloody tasty. Will definitely be going back!
