Delicious, interesting range of food, friendly service and a light, bright atmosphere that suits a solo visit or a group. Great for vegetarians too.

Great scone, one of the top chch scones. Uo there with the birdwood and the current Champs south town club. Also some cool menu options. Loaded scone for one. Scone with bacon and eggs, lovely. Great iced americano, can not fault the coffee. I've enjoyed everything I've had so far and the staff are all, without exception, lovely.

Service was pretty good. The coffee was also pretty good. Ordered the big breakfast but hashbrown was actually a patato cake made from mash and panfried so no crunch or coating, the meal came with two breakfast sausages, two rashers of bacon, two eggs but only one piece of toast! The beans were hot, the rest just warm at best and the eggs were overcooked. Wifes meal similar story. Finished with a pot of tea but it had an odd taste as if someone had used the hot tap to fill the kettle so did not finish it. It was not a particularly busy morning either. Had the wait staff checked in to see if we were happy with the meal I would have mentioned these things politely but that didn't happen and with covid protocols still in place we just had to leave after rather than explain through a mask at the counter. The flavours were good and I will go back again to make sure it wasn't just an off day but..... Not the best especially considering we went there for our anniversary meal....(wife prefers to go out for breakfast/brunch rather than dinner) Sorry babe, I will pick better next year.

Amazing people. We got in there over the long weekend. The people working there was quirky and fun and so nice. What a lovely place to go with kids and have a coffee and breakfast. Food and drinks we had was great and the little ones loved picking leaves.

This is one of the best cafes I have ever visited. Superb food and the enthusiastic lady at the till made it an experience in itself. I'd rate it top Cafe. The mushroom and blue cheese soup is fabulous. You won't get better than this. Enjoy.

Absolutely delicious food. Would thoroughly recommend Foundation if you’re in the CBD and want a quick bite to eat or a really nice vibe on a rainy day :)

I would definitely recommend the french toast. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and came with a delicious zesty mascarpone. A great place to stop for brunch!
