About Fox Physio Taupo
Fox Physio in Taupo has the simple but important mission of providing the best evidenced based Physiotherapy treatment for our clients as possible and to return them to their pre injury functional ability – or as close to that as possible.
Jeff initially operated from home for a few years before it soon became apparent that a bigger premises was needed. We subsequently moved to Motutaiko Street inside The Lake Clinic, which is located conveniently close to town. Taupo Health Centre, Taupo Medical Centre, and also TRG Imaging are only a 10 min walk away.
The location ensures that our clients are only a short distance to well respected local GPs as well as x-ray and ultrasounds facilities. Should we not be able to help with the problem, rest assured you will either be referred back to your GP or onto another health provider or specialist as required.
Fox Physio Taupo currently has six exceptionally well qualified physiotherapists and hand therapists who practice what they preach and lead by example, where possible! There are no fancy gadgets with flashing lights only the real deal way – massage and dry needling (soft or deep tissue and myofascial release), joint mobilisations and manipulation, muscle activation and reactivation exercises, stretches and general education on the condition. No quick fix.. just hard work.

The service you receive here, from the receptionist, to the actual physiotherapists themselves, is such a warm welcoming and friendly environment, you just feel like you have made the right decision once you walk through there doors. There in depth one on one consultations far exceeds the amount you pay, which might I add is super affordable and even moreso if it’s ACC covered. To be thoroughly listened too and properly assessed really made me feel valued as a client. I left not only feeling like I was on the road to rehabilitation but also knowledgeable and confident as to how to look after myself until our next appointment. I fully love my physiotherapist ‘Sarah’ who definitely knows her stuff and in the two sessions I have seen her, I literally feel healed.... but, I know I have a long road ahead of me to recovery and I believe with the ‘Fox Physio’ team, the process will not only be achievable but also enjoyable along the way. Thankyou for not only helping me get better but for also working around my tardiness and managing to fit me in with a smile on your faces.
