★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We regularly buy from Fred's, the meat is always fresh and kept refrigerated, well displayed. They also have a variety of products that are sold there.
The "Biltong" and Dry Wors is always a winner. The Sausage that they make is great for your Braai (Barbecue)
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Always a good experience and when You leave, often I end up buying more than what is required because of the good quality of their meats.
Very highly recommended for future customers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fred's is a small South African shop, but has the best biltong on the North Shore! Not too salty, perfect spices and a range of moist to dry choices. Their staff are friendly and incredibly helpful with any advice or product knowledge. Also, excellent standards during Covid restrictions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takeaway shop primarily for biltong and sausages, but really neat for me to see a place like this for the first time. The staff asked how we want it, firmness, seasoning, fat content, etc which then they cut it off the rack for you. Quick stop.

After seeing on google that you are open and your website saying that you open we drove from the other side of Auckland to visit your shop.
