★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is the mini-me version of countdown ?. Pretty good service, the check out team are pretty friendly too. Clean premises, displays are spread out nicely but I'm not in the area often enough to be familiar with the layout so had to do a fair bit of searching for the items I wanted. Got nothing negative to say about this place ?? Overall, a pretty pleasant shopping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought some items and paid by ATM card. Left the sop. A week later I went back to the same store (Glen Eden) and was promptly pounced on by the manager. She showed me a large photo of myself that had been taken by store security a week before. She said to me, in front of many customers, that when I had previously gone through the checkout that the checkout operator had wrongly 'declined' my ATM card, which I had no idea of. I paid for he groceries from the week before, and also the groceries I had just bought. When I left the store I checked my receipt and was horrified to see I had also paid for six items I did not purchase. I went back to Fresh Choice in Glen Eden and told them and showed them my receipt. I was taken into the managers room and was shown a video of myself from the week before, and they could clearly see I had NOT purchased the extra six items I had been charged for. Apparently those six items were from the customer who came through the same checkout after me. They gave me a refund for those six items. Really bad service and I left feeling like a criminal, when I had actually done nothing wrong. It was completely the fault of the checkout operator who somehow declined my ATM card. I still shop there but a VERY careful and always check my receipt before I leave the shop to make sure the same mistake doesn't happen again.

A bit different set out than I'm used but seemed to navigate the store easily enough.
Parking can be a little bit of a problem but eventually one becomes available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased fruits, bread, nuts in Fresh Choice. Cashier was very pleasant and inquired about my native land. Since it was during the Queen's Jubilee weekend, I was alone in Fresh Choice. Besides, it was already getting dark when I got there. Anyway, we had a friendly exchange. Thank you.
