★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was very tasty; great value; service was excellent and helpful, We eat there for both lunch and dinner and found the food to not only be very tasty with a good but simple menu. The place is was also frequented by Japanese (business men) on both occasions indicating that the food was good. We come here without fail whenever we visit Auckland. Top quality, authentic Japanese food. Practically just outside Sky City - a bit of a hidden gem.

Lunch is highly recommended, with a wide range of dishes on the menu, including donburi (bowls of rice) from $10.
In autumn(around mid-May) homemade salmon roe(Ikura) may be available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was great and courteous. Owner Eriko was friendly. Enjoyed the sashimi, seafood tempura with rice & miso soup. Found the food to be very authentic Japanese. Went away making a friend. Highly recommended venue.
