Nicky came and was very knowledgeable and took account of what I was after with practical suggestions (which weren't necessarily the pricey ones!), install went absolutely fine, the alarm is set up on my mobile and very easy to use. I feel so much safer.

After being broken into we felt better knowing we can have an alarm that will notify us Using the IP module Which we can control our alarm from our smart phones. Thank you for a great service. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a great experience with Garrison Alarms. I booked a service due to issues with the existing alarm system set-up in our home. It was great to get a booking so quickly and I found Barry, the technician who arrived the very next day, to be fantastic. He arrived on time and cut straight to the chase with the issues. He was very thorough with his advise...making sure I understood our set-up, options for improvement and the pricing of those....then just got on with everything in a very efficient manner. His advice was great and we are really happy with our new smartphone set-up. A very professional service which has given us peace of mind that all is working well with our system now. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience with Garrisons in Dec 2018 whereby I was charged $800 for 3 sensors and a battery. 24 hours after the technician left the alarm stopped working. I have just yesterday (July 2019) got another alarm company to come in and they found the battery that Garrisons put in was enlarged and sitting in the roof insulation about to explode which would of caused a house fire (see images below). I found them to be extremely unhelpful and VERY pricey and all the technician wanted to do was leave as soon as he could. I was also told by the new alarm company that where Garrisons had placed the sensors in the house left large blind spots where people could still get in and rob the place. To compare pricing, I just got a brand new alarm system fully installed with external siren for $760. A lot better money than the $800 for 3 sensors and an explosive battery from Garrisons. What is also ironic was my manager was also looking for an alarm company at the same time I was and she also called Garrisons to install her alarm - they rescheduled 3 times and mucked her around so much that she cancelled and booked another alarm company - she also doesnt recommend Garrisons.
