★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the locals love Anton the mechanic. He always goes above and beyond to help you. Best trait ever in a mechanic! As often it's the little extra things to show care that really make your day. I feel like they are not taking advantage of women who clearly know nothing about cars at this garage. Which has happened to me in the past. Only down side is Anton is really busy as you can imagine. . But so worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK so I live in Christchurch yet when my warrant or service is due I always take it out to GAS Oxford the mechanics there are personable, honest, reliable and will even take the time to educate you on your car and any faults going on.. A bonus is my elderly parents live in Oxford so I pop off for a cuppa tea whilst the car is being taken care of.. If your looking for a reliable honest mechanic who isn't in the game of ripping you off especially if your female (you know alot of mechanics try it more with females ?) then GAS Oxford is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my 4wd in to get a tow bar installed. Was booked in. Took it in and was told it would be finished by the end of the day. I recieved no call, so called and was told they didn't have some of the parts and that they need to keep it overnight and do it tomorrow. That would have been ok if they had called me earlier in the day and let me know so that I could make plans to go an extra day without our vehicle. But they left it til a few minutes before closing. Not impressed. It's been booked in for a few weeks. They should have had the parts anyway. And even if not, they should have communicated with me and let me know earlier. My daughter's car seat is in there and now we can't even go to get it because they're closed.

They always get my car in as fast as they can and do an awesome job. They're communication is always faultless and if they ever have any issues they always call to keep me in the loop. They're very accommodating and are just super decent people!
