The coordinators are the worst. No communication, no respect for health & disability rights, and cause endless stress by changing days and times for care with no communication to the client. No support from office staff.

This is an absolute Mickey mouse organization. They mistreat carers to a level that even third world countries would be embarrassed of. Avoid if you want quality care for your loved ones

Don't rely on these muppets to help you with home help they probably won't bother if u break ur back and these people are the providers of home help u better be ready to look after urself and be on call and ready to open the door if they ever show up They are recommended by the hospitals but they are nothing but bottom feeding liars that need to be investigated for fraud In the past month that my leg has been broken they have only done anything once and fully expect me to jump on demand whenever they feel like sending anyone to help with basic things Getting home with a broken leg after surgery tired as even though acc had approved there service for home help nothing was done except after I had cleaned up and done everything myself to the point of severe pain and exhaustion then they decided to make an appearance which I really needed rest after doing there job 2 weeks later I need help with shopping but the main concern is someone giving me a shower If only I could get some real help well my leg is broken because I think it is broken again after looking after myself if I could walk to the supermarket I would try Don't trust these people to help if u are in need and don't think they will be bothering either Almost a month later they have provided pretty much just a whole lot of spammy txt messages and annoying phone calls to say no one will be able to help today ????

This 5 star is not for the company but for the lovely lady on call who is such an amazing staff. I believe her name is Faiza Amaan. She is my Mum's Care Coordinator for South Auckland. Geneva needs more people like her. I had a really tough time with Geneva with the Care Coordinator before Faiza. The team managers were the worst. I don't remember the names of the previous team managers (both females). No follow ups, no empathy and I don't know what they were being paid for. Because of the extremely annoying and tiring experience, my husband and I decided it's time to change providers. This is when Faiza came in as my Mum's new Care Coordinator. We decided to give her a chance. I want to apologise to her first of all because of how me and my husband spoke to her on call. We were frustrated and had lost all hope with Geneva. Faiza always spoke to us in a very kind way (which made me feel guilty for yelling at her). There were a lot of ups and downs at the beginning, but now she has made our lives so perfectly smooth running and stress free. My Mum has 3 support workers and all 3 of them speak very highly of her. I have never before have heard any of my Mum's support workers praise any Coordinators. One of the Geneva call center staff praised her as one of the kindest souls in your office. My calls are never declined, she always follows up. She sounds like a person who knows what she is doing and has a genuine understanding of healthcare needs. Geneva needs more staff like her. I hope she gets employee of the month or year or any type of acknowledgment for her work. She's a keeper.

Do NOT use this company to provide homecare for your elderly loved one! They have proved to be TOTALLY UNRELIABLE over the last 5-6 years we have had to use them. This is because they are the homecare provider contracted by Waitemata Health DHB. They have no concern that their elderly client is left unattended for the day/s they are supposed to provide for, either at no notice or sometimes notified by phone hours after the appointment time. The management seem to have no control over their workers. Particularly their fill in care givers who come one day of a full weeks engagement but then not the next. They then turn up the 3rd day and fail to show again the next...all sorts of excuses offered....but it's the client and their families that suffer! Enough excuses... just provide RELIABLE SERVICE as you are contracted to do.! Or if you can't then withdraw from your contract with WDHB and let someone else do it. I have given them 1 star only for he reason the forum does not allow you to post the review with zero stars. The score is really 0.

If I could give no stars I would. IF funding so-called support, has been the most appalling, unhelpful and majorly stressful nightmarish experience. For something that is supposed to be a help to specials needs clients and their parents/caregivers. No training provided on how to effectively complete the set up process and then complete all the admin required, in relation to claiming IF funding. Call centre could not organise a dance party in a swimming pool if they even tried, cant even listen or transfer to the correct team or person you request to speak too. Absolutely unprofessional and useless. Not fit whatsoever to be an IF funding host. Glad to see the back of these bunch of cowboys.

I wish there was an option for no stars. Pathetic service. Carers don't turn up at all and need constant follow up to check if they will come. I have called their customer service head to provide feedback. Unfortunately my call has not been returned. It would appear they focus on receiving payment from the government to provide care. However there is no focus on the real customer, the person who needs caring.
