β β β β β I was quoted a price for getting a cat door installed in my double glazed window. I was quoted $650 which seemed high but to be fair he was the only company that I enquired with that phoned me and quoted me quickly. He then came to measure the window and said that I didn't need safety glass, which I agreed (but no reduction in price was made). Of course you cannot cut into double glazing so a new pane was created with the cat door hole in it. When it was installed by 'Baz' after some last minute haphazard calls to arrange, and when he installed it he cracked the pane of glass. He has since been dodging my calls and texts to come back and replace the cracked window he installed. He did promise to replace it - and so he should, but I am thinking he never will. Very poor communicator and quite frankly appalling he wont replace what he broke! I would not recommend this company.
