★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately had a bad experience at Glenfield AutoCentre, after waiting longer then promised for a WOF inspection. I was told my car failed on 3 counts (quoting me over 1K worth of repairs). I was surprised as I had only purchased the car 6 months ago and had it inspected and recently got a full service 3 days prior to the WOF being due. I expressed my concerns with the man there and he insisted that if I took it to another place they would most likely pass my car and say that he was lying. Now being a young female with minimal knowledge of cars I wanted a second opinion because things felt very off. I took it to another local reputable garage and my car passes with no issues !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my old Mitsubishi Lancer to Anton as it had a cracked radiator. He was very open with me about costs and did a great job to fix up the car. His communication was great and he was flexible with my work schedule to allow me to pick up the car at a time that suited me. Couldn't recommend him more!

He is upfront about the issues and offers viable solutions. Will be recommending other friends and family to see him for car troubles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bad experience unfortunately!
I made an appointment for a WOF on Saturday at 9am. The guy showed up at 9:20. Then I got called after one hour later and was told that my car is ready for collection. When I got there, I was surprised to be told that he had failed my car due to “broken lower arm bushings” and that they need replacements on both sides and was quoted $450. He also told me that he doesn’t have time to fix them on same day on Saturday!! and that I have to make another appointment during the week, which I did.
I came back during the week for my appointment at the 8:30 am and the shop was still closed (it was supposed to be open at 8am!!). I waited until 9am and then left. I ended up taken the car to a different mechanic and was told that the bushings did NOT need replacement, and renewed the car’s WOF. I even visually inspected the bushings!!
I read that the exact same thing happened to another reviewer.
Bottom line is, don't trust this mechanic, don’t waste your time because he’s never on time!!

To anyone who reads these reviews that state Anton is not honest and open I challenge you to find anyone to put it in writing with a name and contact number of the other Qualified Mechanic saying that Anton was wrong or trying to rip you off.
Some people are never happy and quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.

went in there for e WOF. came out with a huge bill a bit over $500
I had bought the car recently from Turners and had a full vehicle check so this was baffling.
the strange thing was, as I was waiting, I called in to check how my WOF was going, and he kept in inching up my estimate. it started with $300, then to $350. then when I arrived on site, he said it would cost be $500 because the parts were more expensive than what he anticipated?
just the whole deal was shady and suspicious.
always avoided eye contact.
I wouldnt go here twice

Anton persuaded me to get a full vehicle service done after he completed my WOF. I accepted and brought my vehicle in.
two weeks after the work had been done, I was left with a series of electrical issues with my BMW.
a fully licensed BMW mechanic had a look at my vehicle then afterwards, and stated that the system had been messed with.
if you're not a professional. don't suggest that you can do the work Anton
