★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! Staff was very friendly and we actually engaged in a nice conversation. Very very welcoming staff. Very clean and tidy too. Overall nice environment. And the food was delicious. I recommend trying their iced coffee and pancakes. Will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was OK - food took a little time to come out and staff, while efficient, were not very welcoming or friendly. Reasonable selection available from both menu board and cabinet food. Was good - not great. However, that said, would probably go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little cafe that is really popular with the locals. Always busy when we are here. The meals are lovely and the coffee was lovely, a nice smooth taste. It seems the Barista here won the 2018 NZ Barista of the Year Award.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited for a long time for breakfast to be served, only told be told when I asked how much longer it would be that the printer in the kitchen had not printed the docket. The front of house staff knew we had ordered food but didn't follow up, didn't realise we had been waiting for a long time, and even though the cafe was relatively busy the chef did not query why they were not getting any orders. Very poor customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Specious, large selection of sweet and savory baked goods. I loved the moist Belgian waffles drizzled with maple syrup, yogurt and berry compote. Mocha was excellent (though I’ve yet to find a place in New Zealand during my visit that doesn’t serve excellent coffee.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for lunch on Sunday.. We found that the food was very average.. The end of the sausage roll was hard and dry, the toast sandwich was sprinkled with an unusual sauce, and there was too much seasoning in the bread filling. So it Took over the taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four of us went for breakfast, coffee was excellent but we weren’t entirely happy with the food. The sign of a professional and sharp business is often shown in how they handle issues though and Global Bite handled our feedback exceptionally well. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be back.
