About Goldbush Micro Farm
We believe you deserve access to local vegetables, naturally grown! Our mission at Goldbush Micro Farm is to share knowledge and nourishing food with our local South Taranaki community.
Here at Goldbush we are learning how to use organic and permaculture principles so you won't find synthetic fertilisers or pesticides here. We don't consider ourselves spray-free as we regularly spray our garden with things like seaweed and comfrey tea, our goal is to grow healthy soils, which makes for healthy plants and healthy, local food for our customers!
Goldbush Micro Farm is a 3.78 acre (1.5ha) property a few minutes north of Hawera. We are currently working on a 240 square metre food forest. We have four cows, 11 hens and a rooster named Blue. We are very excited to embark on our permaculture adventure and market garden on Goldbush Micro Farm and look forward to sharing our local vegetables and our journey with you.
