Damian is super welcoming of new students so there's no excuse if you're thinking of trying it out. It will probably be the best decision you've made in a long time.

Damien has fostered a friendly and inclusive environment, powered by his infectious love of the sport and in-depth experience as both a coach and practitioner.
My partner Freya and I have learned a huge amount in a very short time and I would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of their experience, and especially if they are unsure of whether BJJ is for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in for some training while I was doing contract work in Hawkes Bay and the head instructor Damian is the warmest most friendly coach I've met. He gave me a lot of one-on-one tips with some interesting techniques. If I was living in Hawkes Bay I would definitely join this gym.
