One of our 14 frosted panels was incorrectly sanded resulting in dust, dirt and water drops collecting on the surface. Asked them to fix it, the "specialist" came in, totally damaged it (scratched), kept shouting that it is normal, even when I showed him that the glass can't be cleaned as it is too rough. He finally advised that it is our problem, was EXTREMELY rude and just walked away. We now left with no other option as to go to the court. Very sad and stressful experience.

My corner angled shower needed some parts to stabilize it, so I thought I might just drop by and see what they got. Very helpful staff, got exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. And such a bargain price! Went there again to buy another set for another shower.

Excellent service and product . We bought 29m of glass balstrude delivered to Christchurch , packed well and quick delivery. Much better value than other products and looks stunning, no posts and small top rail . Highly recommend

This is the most unprofessional company that I have ever worked with. Believe the other 1-star comment that the installation process is awful. First, the installer showed up unannounced without an email or phone call to make an appointment. He also didn’t wear a mask in the current COVID environment when it is required to wear a mask. Second, the channel installer didn't notice that our shower requires a custom-made glass; but only when they came to install the glass, the glass installer realised that their pre-made glass wouldn't fit and asked us to pay the extra for a custom made glass; if we were informed that we had to make a custom-made glass to begin with, we wouldn't have ordered them from this pre-made glass company. Third, even with the custom-made glass, the shower door wouldn't close properly where every time you pushed it to close, it bounced back. They said it was normal…until I showed them a video displaying otherwise. Finally, the end product still left a gap in the bottom of the shower where water leaks out every time you use it. See the gap in the picture. They refused to fix the issue and claimed that "this is their standard way" when I have consulted my builder who indicated that the gap was indeed too big and can be easily fixed. When I persisted, they asked us, the customer, to fix the gap ourselves, knowing that this would void the warranty of the work they have done — Warranty. 4.1 Warranty period: 5 years warranty for materials; 10 years warranty for NANO coating products (Coating by our certified applicator); 12 months warranty for installation 4.2 If the material is found to be at fault, then Grand Glass & Hardware Ltd will either replace the material or refund the original material cost. Grand Glass & Hardware Ltd will not accept any claim for any consequential losses, nor will any recompense be made to the customer for initial installation costs. 4.3 Any warranty may be null and void if the Goods are modified, damaged, or altered by the Customer in a manner the Goods were not designed to perform. I was in disbelief how unprofessional this company was, although they have had come over and fixed the said problem after several of my requests via emails.

We used Grand Glass for the purchase and installation of our shower glass. From start to finish they were excellent! Communication with 'Shirley' was a breeze, she was prompt, efficient and professional, even when we delayed the installation date 4 times!!! Quality product, service and installation. It sounds staged but it isn't. They were not only a fraction of the cost of everyone else, but they did an amazing job. The product and work was top quality and they did it exactly when they told me they would. They not only did my balustrade but the stair handrails and shower cubicles - all fantastic and cost less than other options. I would highly recommend them.
