★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this local diary I've had the pleasure of frequenting for the past 29 years. The same owners for as long as I can remember. Friendly, tidy and always beautifully presented store. Flowers are always fresh and they're open later than most in the area. Great selection of lollie bags for the kiddies too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The woman who was at the counter this afternoon is often rude to my 9 year old who earns his pocket money in order to buy himself treats in her establishment.
My son has expressed on more than one occasion how short and rude she is with him whenever he goes in there alone to make a purchase for himself or for our household.
So imagine her surprise when this time unknowingly, one of us followed him and his sister into the shop just to witness first hand how rude she is! We sure werent leaving without ensuring she knew that my son who frequents her shop at least once a week is NOT one of those bad thieving kids she spoke about. I fully understand that as a businessowner, you have an obligation to prevent loss, but to assume that every child who enters your dairy unsupervised has bad intentions? Is disappointing. Shoplifters come in all ages, colours and social status' and children are not less deserving of customer service. Customers are customers, no matter how young or indecisive they are, especially when they are excited to enter your dairy to make an independant decision and purchase. They could've gone anywhere to buy their treats, but they chose YOUR dairy, and they too deserve to be treated with respect, and a little patience.
