★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After initial contact, it took a few more tries to get a decent quote. Upon accepting the quote, we received several (empty) promises and dates on getting the job done. On the day the job was scheduled, the manager sends a text to say that they won't be doing the job. NO reasons given. NO alternate dates offered. Not even the courtesy to call to inform.
In short, a month of time wasted chasing up and job still undone !
Would definitely NOT recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Water pressure had been gradually dropping off, called Grant Plumbing at around 10:30 and 2 guys were on site by midday, problem fixed within 30 minutes. Must say I was very impressed by the receptionist who took my initial call, as well as by the 2 guys who were friendly and efficient, and answered all my questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A1 for service. From initial call for repairing a toilet to final billing. I have always been impressed with them over the 20 yrs I have dealt with them. In my opinion their customer service ethic is amazing. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ have used Grant plumbing 6 times over the last 4 years for a rental property. in the past have always found them reliable and good - but this has all changed. In Nov we wanted 2 side by side water tobys repaired. They had done the same job (1 toby) in Mar 18 for $147 for 1 hr labour including parts. This time they charged for over 7 hours labour of 2 people. I was at the property for most of the time and there was no need to have an assistant trades person there, who mainly stood around doing nothing. I questioned this and they ignored my emails in dec and Jan. Finally got a call from the manager Jim. He was rude and disinterested. I had offered a fair solution paying only for 1 persons labour. I met with him and he talked over me, told me he didn't have time to read emails or reply, hadn't bothered to read anything i said and wouldn't justify the huge discrepancy. Told me about another client (insert racial slur) who moaned about every bill too and then talked over me when i said this is the first time we have questioned a bill. Very poor service. Will never use them again and recommend no one else does either

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother called Grants Plumbing to look at an issue she was having and they told her it was a really big job that would cost anywhere between $2,000 - $5,000 and even sent her a $150 invoice just for coming to look at the issue. We got a second opinion and found a plumber who could fix the problem for $200 and informed her that she was being taken for a ride by Grant's Plumbing. Would not recommend this company to anyone!
Just to add to this, my mother received a SECOND invoice for $445 for their second visit without telling her how much that would cost! Stay away from this company!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had issues with my toilet cistern some months ago and Grant Plumbing came, had a look and did a repair by replacing a part in the toilet. The same issue occurred again a few months later so they sent a guy who was there maybe 5 minutes, and he said he had no idea about these types of toilets (the toilet was less than 10 years old). He turned a seal over in the cistern and couldn't say whether it would fix it or not. $289 later, a weekend call out fee (fair enough, I agreed to that) and less than 10 minutes of his time - no parts. After discussions with lady in the office, who said she would get back to me after talking to the plumber, no correspondence, no call back, just remittance notices. Ive given up waiting for the promised call and just paid the bill. Over it.

They often go out of their way to accomodate us even with small things like a blocked waste disposal. Their team are always helpful, courteous and friendly. I could not recommend them highly enough.
