β β β β β A Korean hair salon located in the corner of Sunnynook, next door to Countdown. During my visit, i could only see male staff members; your experience may vary depending on your visit. They did a great job, not perfect but above average. They do have good taste. It is recommended you book by phone in advance, as it gets crowded during peak hours.

β β β β β Staff members are great! Work environment is also awesome as well has their haircuts?However....Their hair colouring is not preformed as well. I wanted my hair a dark navy blue in the middle
Of my hair length a.k.a the tips of my hair. What I ended up getting was a very weird colour of green mixed with the yellow of the bleach (my hair is naturally black). I did ask for the dark blue to be extra dark just because I wanted it to be visible but not to the point of obviousness. I was very disappointed in their performance and quite annoyed with their empty comments on how "everything will be fine"...clearly nothing was fine. In their defense they did not know my hair was very resilient towards the hair dye and they did ask that if I can come back another time they will coat another blue on top.
From now on I recommend them do a sample or record the amount of dye they put in to certain colours for certain types of hair, so that when other customers do enter they already know the amount of dye needed for people who have strong resilience to dye because of their pigment of natural hair colour and others that may have less resilience to dye in reason of their pigment of natural hair colour. PLEASE PLEASE CHECK TWICE OF THE COLOUR YOU WANT AND MAKE SURE IT CAN COME OUT THE WAY YOU WANT.?β€οΈ

β β β β β Great hair salon! Every time I have been, they have always finished my hair in a way that looks natural and feels smooth. Even though the polite and well mannered staff are Korean and are used to dealing with asian hair types, my european hair is no problem for them at all. The price is super reasonable too! Thank you so much λ무 κ°μ¬ν©λλ€~~~

With my latest hair style, my colleagues, regardless of their ethnicities and gender have been asking about the hair salon. Worth trip across town!

β β β β β I love having my hair cut at this salon and since moving to Northland 2 years ago - I still return here. John washed, cut and styled my hair with speed and efficiency which, for a busy woman like me > was on point.
It is Korean run and owned, with a small staff so I urge you to book an appointment because they are popular.
Let's face it! They will not be everyone's cup of tea. If you want an hombre dye job or nice chit chat and pleasant small talk while you are in the chair, then visit a Western salon and pay more. For $40 I got a fabulous cut and great service. Thanks John and staff.

β β β β β Very busy salon with only two hairdressers on the job. I had an appointment for a perm that eventually took 3 hours due to a full house. Although I felt my perm was a bit too tight and may have been left too long, they did the best they could for my thinning hair for which Iβm grateful, and the service was great. My husband suggested google translate next time, which is probably a good idea, or bring a Korean friend to help communicate any concerns you have.
