★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Requested a quote for a brand of carpet for our rental and was told we shouldn't put this good carpet in a rental. Our house our choice really. We were then quoted on cheaper type that was hard to the touch and not what we wanted.
Sad really as this was just a quote at the end of the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can highly recommend Van Dyks Flooring Xtra. I was referred to them by one of their competitors as I specifically wanted a Godfrey Hirst carpet which they stocked. Richard was great to deal with and the installation (which had to occur around a major renovation) went without a hitch. Van Dyks are a great local company and I would definitely buy from them again.

We had good communication from Day 1 and the carpet went down on the planned day around the painters. The team at Van Dyks were all very helpful with choosing the right carpet for us and giving us recommended options for vinyl vs carpet.This is the 4th time we have used Flooring Xtra for our own home and for our rental properties and each time we have had superb experience and good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a bit disappointed with the service spilt glue and didnt return our call as promised. Staples left on lawn well away from work area and ended up in my foot. Didn't put doors back on hinges before leaving site for 5 days. Although not a terrible experience Could have been a much better experience for a small amount of effort. NEVER AGAIN will I use or recommend to another person I would rather pay more and recieve some level of service

Both the vinyl and carpet layers did a awesome job. Happy to recommend.
