★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a Woodsman Nova 5 years ago and the firebox completely collapsed in during last winter. We have only ever burnt dry untanslised wood. Also the paint wore off the front just 2 years after we bought it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our fireplace has had the paint rust away at the bottom(less than 18 months after being installed), the solution from the rep was to re-paint it(at our cost). We had a masport in our last house for more than 15 years and never had this issue. Would avoid the powder coated models. Interestingly Woodsman sell the touch up paint? Not a good sign

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just love the 'Flare' fire from Harris Fires. Looks amazing, so unique and stylish plus just packs out the heat, without burning through the wood too quickly. Had it for a few years now and never had any issues with it. Lovely family run business who were wonderfully helpful throughout the whole process. Couldn't be happier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a review of the Saturn Ferva wood burning stove.
The worst 6k I've ever spent. The workmanship on this fire is low quality with visible imperfections in the cutting and machining of the metal body work. The heat stones wear down quickly and are very soft - Logs easily dent and mark the heat stones. The fire is difficult to keep clean with the bottom burning chamber needing the glass cleaned after every use. When you open the door the mechanism is rough and basic. Opening the door often leaves your floor covered in Ash. The coating on the fire is starting to rust and is very hard to clean. The motorised fan makes a rumbling noise. The included Flue kit is of basic quality and leaked when first fitted - could have been down to the installer and the Columbie Cowl is not able to deal with winds more than 20km/h.
Do not buy this fire. Instead buy the Bionic Fire from Envirosolve.
After service is also not great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a smoke problem with our wood burner afer it was swept. Got the sweep back but the smoke from the chimney persisted. Spoke to one of the Research & Development people and he was very helpful. We learned a lot! Replaced the baffle and our wood burner is back to its usual smokeless self!
