Designated parks for freedom campers, launch ramp for boaties, even a “toy library” for the kiddo’s.
Can get busy.
Can attract larrikins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great off leash dog area at the far end of Papamoa Beach. Fantastic to have like minded dog friendly people about. I usually manage to get a car park on the side with Creek below. I can either sit in my car and watch "my boy" explore or take my Wheelchair to side of boat ramp and look out to sea and watch Chessie. Found people to be really helpful and offered to push me down onto beach, but wouldn't work in my "everyday" power wheelchair. When I have on occasion got stuck, people very helpful. Have a lot of kids toys in a little hut by entrance which anyone can get one to play with on beach and return afterwards. A great community idea.
Some toilets, including an accessible one be a great addition but like as not too commercialized. A good surf spot for all the family. Love it.
