★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner is so kind and friendly, the accommodation is really clean with free cereal, bread milk and so on. The lounge has quite good interior, 1910s auckland photos and world map. If I will go Whangarei next time, definitely book there again?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location and wonderful accommodations. We have stayed in many places during our multi-month visit to NZ, and this was among our favorite. Very clean, comfortable, convenient to town, and the owners are lovely. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Whangarei area. Walk to Town Basin, Whangarei Falls/trails, and multiple shopping areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Handy location, comfortable and very clean . Full kitchen and shared spaces are well laid out, with all rooms having ensuites and showers. Lots of homely touches and wood around. Owners respect your privacy but happy to help with anything

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful stay here, in a comfortable, warm, quiet room with a sparkling clean bathroom. There is a well-equipped shared kitchen with everything we needed for a great breakfast.
I especially loved the library room, as well as various beautiful paintings and historical photographs on the walls throughout the house which gives it a lovely character.
The hosts Michael and Karen are very warm, helpful, non-intrusive, and knowledgeable about the local area's sights. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return.
