★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had a number of dealings with Hauraki District Council and every time it has been excelent service. I wish all the Councils in New Zealand were as good and as friendly as they are. (Won't name any others we have dealt with but we mostly work out of Auckland)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently I had to apply to the Waihi Branch of the Hauraki District Council to have a plaque attached to my grandparents grave in the Waihi Cemetery. I was dealing with Leanne and the service she gave to an "out of towner" was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to get an available JP and a Monumental Mason for me. I left Waihi wondering why I live in a city where the service given is so bad in comparison. My congratulations to Leanne and the Hauraki District Council, I was so grateful to them.
