Horrific. Lied to my face. Tenants moved from flats due to neglect. They had rotten wood stained to make look safe. I placed danger tape to ensure all were safe as rotten wood was anything but safe. Haus threatened to trespass me for placing the safety tape, which haus removed many times. I've called the council to deal with their neglect. I've never encountered such a two faced property manager. #safetyfirst

The staff were generally polite, and promptly responded to and remedied maintenance issues. However our experience was tainted at the end of the tenancy with them trying to deduct money without consultation from our bond for damage we did not cause (most of it promptly dropped once they were called out about it). They also tried to enforce an unenforceable clause about commercial carpet cleaning, even though the carpets were clean and old. They will also request expensive "administration fees" for removing the name of a tenant off the contract. Also told us the tenancy would be renewed next year, then gave us notice just before Christmas the landlord was moving back. Recommend you be aware of your rights, and keep photographic records about the state of the property at the start of the tenancy to ensure they do not take advantage of you.

The dealing with the agent while leaving the property was just so terrible as we had to end of tenancy early as we were building a house and wanted to move in to our our house. They told us there will be exit free as we are breaking tenancy and charged us cleaning fee. Cleaning fee was not required as the house www cleaned perfectly. It is just their Cheeky way of oosing out money from people. I told the lady is it ok if I give you the keys of the rental house the day after we moved out. She told it not possible and I need to give them the keys the same day. Told me to put the keys in the after hours. She was very adamant about it. I told them that we are very tired as we had to move everything to our own property in Hutt and then had to come back and clean the rental property. Still no sympathy gather don’t know what the hell is going to happen if I give Turk the keys back the next day morning first thing. Such a terrible experience made us drive back from Upper Hutt to Wellington in the night to drop off the keys.

Poor experience with this property management, the staff likes to make assumptions on the tenants living situation, for example when I emailed them about flea problem in the carpet, they ignored my email and never responded, when questioning they said they assumed we did something about it and never asked how we were. They also have poor actions, they tend to sweet talk to you and do nothing about your problem. Through out the whole year we felt poorly looked after, and unsafe.

Standard ticket-clipping property management experience. You'll want document meticulously with photographs if you want to avoid arbitrary bond deductions. Insist on an in person exit inspection
