Hawkins, through Downer, joined the Climate Leaders Coalition in 2018 and aims to promote business leadership and collective action on the issue of climate change.
As a business, we also set an emission reduction target in 2019, “Downer commits to the decarbonisation of its absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 45-50 percent by 2035 from an FY18 base year and being net zero in the second half of this century”.
