★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big disappointment with Hertz services. This includes their customer service as well as taking money from your credit card without your permission. This I’ll treatment is the a gold member that have no choice but to use them as they are the only provider in whanganui airport where I work for the hospital.
Below is my booking number and I am sharing this so they know exactly what they have done.
I booked the car for $176 and before even flying to whanganui I noticed they have taken $200, and then another $376 after 10min. I called the branch and spoke to a lady and she said that they are new and it is a mistake and she will fix it. I got to the airport and met her and she said that she will have my $200 in my account in no time and the other $200 that is inclusive of $376 will be processed afterwards. I said ok that is fine. On Tuesday I called the branch and spoke to the accounts department. She said the $376 that was charged the $200 bond should appear in your account today or tomorrow and I said no it is $400 as there has been seperate payment of $200 taken from my account. She said that she can’t see that and “are you sure that is the case and it says Hertz NZ” I said offcourse I am sure and I was suspecting you knew this as I had mentioned the issue to your employee. She said take street shot and we will see what we can do? Seriously not even oh I am really sorry about this or anything just as if I was owing her money . Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I am extremely disappointed on you Hertz. This is not the service you provide to someone who’s money you have taken and left them short and yet showing no empathy or sympathy.
Get this sorted ASAP and an apology email would be nice.
