About Hoops & Scoops NZ
Just as before, eventually we ran out of room in the Kihikihi Shop so moved to a ‘new-old’ shop in Te Awamutu during November 2019 to more comfortably accommodate shop activities, which is where we are today.
We have enjoyed the connection with customers and the wider community family, right from the time where fundraising donuts were first sold ‘back-in-the-day’ when the children sold donuts from the family farm gate.
We invite you and your family and friends to ‘Share the Joy’ with us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove out here from Hamilton to get a gluten free dohnut. They had run out. They said they had frozen ones but refused to sell me one to take home because they 'would have to ask the manager' who was not there. Very disappointed. Update: wonders of technology issue resolution.

Sadly to say I was disappointed.
I felt the buns were just ordinary dinner buns with cream inside, nothing signature abt them. Too expensive for them being just ordinary buns. I like doughnuts but not these ones.
I can bake fluffier buns for 70% the price. Sorry won't be buy anymore.
Will come and try sherbet and ice cream next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw the food truck and spontaneously stopped this afternoon in Hamilton, I got sour grape sorbet and my husband got a donut and milkshake, all items were absolutely amazing! Especially the lady that served us, she was so polite, she looked happy and she was just so nice in general!
Will definitely be keeping an eye out for you guys in future ?
