★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoy popping into Hornby library on when I'm in the area. The building is I believe going to be replaced soon as the current bldg is a little small. But go in & you will find books ? galore, computers ? with a time limit you can use & staff who are fully dedicated to assisting you the customer in finding that elusive book ? that you really want for the holidays. ?
This dedication can be found in most libraries across New Zealand but because I live in Canterbury I happen to think our people are the best.
Having said that I actually use another library on a regular basis but as Arlo Guthrie sings ?, "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant (Hornby Library)". ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and decent size community library. It feels very welcoming and perfect place of you have school work or work related assignment to complete where you need some privacy. The library personnel was very helpful and friendly.
