Awesome place to roam and get into the feel of what it would have been like to live in the 1800s. Looking forward to catching a live day with people performing tasks of the era. Some areas could use some attention but overall it was a good experience.

Howick Historical Village is so interesting. It's a time capsule in a beautiful setting. I've been wanting to go for years, and I'm glad I finally did. I enjoyed walking around the old buildings, looking at props from a bygone era, imagining what life may have been like then. They have a lovely little café on site. I have to say that I'm very grateful for being born in this era ? There is good parking. Almost everything is level, so it makes for a good walk. One tip: try and go on weekends. Weekdays are often for school trips, which means it's overrun with children, clamouring on everything, going beyond the ropes, pushing and shoving past you inside the buildings, without any regard.

Me and my family enjoyed our visit to the historical village today and it was a good educational experience as well. However one of the people working their was very rude towards me and my family, when my husband aprroached her she point blank ignored him and exactly the same when we left we greeted she was so rude and just stared at as. She dident even try to hide it, looking at us from head to toe. I'm sure her co-worker felt embarrassed as well. In comparison with the woman that received us when we came who was just absolutely lovely. I was disgusted with her behaviour. Therefore I would not visit again or recommend it. I'm sorry but that was our full experience which is a shame

Lovely place to spend a morning. A few old schools and buildings have been brought to the site and the volunteers have done a great job restoring them.

What an amazing and awesome place, we will definitely visit again in the future. This place makes you feel as if you've gone back in time. Great to see such great details, not only that but it is apparent that this place is well maintained.
