★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wost experience and annoying. No people skills at all, needs training in customer service. Even if you know everything about framing, to be a successful business, you need to also know how to present your product and be able to talk in a decent frame of voice when explaining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with the service. Was quoted a price to repair a floating glass papyrus. Was told it would take 2 weeks to be done. After 3 weeks my husband went back and spoke to Roumen (sp?) who told my husband the job can wait. He said it was not worth his effort and won't pay his bills. Well rest assured we will not be back - time wasters.

I found prints of pictures of the bay where we grew up on line and had the artist send them directly to Howick Picture Frames. By emailing pictures of frame and matt options to me along the lines of my limited specifications, Roumen worked his magic, totally enhancing the lovely prints, in a very limited time frame and my family called in to collect their surprise gifts and we are all delighted with the results. So thank you again for making such a wonderful job and helping me put together some wonderful momentos for my family to enjoy. Kate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to see if Raumen could fix the orientation of the hanging wire on the back of a frame. He did it straight away and when I wanted to pay he said there was no charge! Wow I did not think that happens anymore. Thx so much! Great advice and I will most certainly support this Howick business!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went into this shop asking if they had picture hooks, the business owner stands and lifts his hands and says to me “do you think I have hooks????” In and aggressive and angry tone. I asked him again as was confused as I am standing in a framing store ( how could they not sell hooks????) and he just stood and stared at me again with the same response! I asked why he was talking to me
rudely got no response so I said “WOW” and walked out!!
I’m in shock and can not believe the response I just got for asking for picture hooks in a picture framing store!!!!!
Avoid at all cost! DO NOT GO HERE! No one deserves that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roumen is a no nonsense professional picture framer. I've had three frames done by Roumen and they are of fantastic quality. Roumen provides great advice depending on the type of picture you bring in and is always up for a great chat. Highly recommend his service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently moved house and wanted to repair some photos, re-frame existing pictures and frame some new ones, all to suit the new house.
Roumen was very generous with his time and ideas. His suggestions were so welcome and the results looked simply amazing.
Plus he insisted on framing one poster for free. Big personality and big heart! I wish I could give this guy six out of five stars, but fives the limit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go to Howick Picture Frames for all my photos and artwork. Even though I have moved out of East Auckland, I still make the drive.
This is because Roumen is friendly and very knowledgeable about his trade. He has a huge range available and can give good recommendations on what product will work best. I've had about 8 or 9 things framed here, from expensive limited prints to ordinary photographs and Roumen was always careful and professional with every job.
He even insisted on framing one of my prints free!!
I can't recommend him enough.
